The history of Essències mediterrànies

Next to the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by olive, almond, hazelnut and carob trees, Essències mediterrànies was born, recalling the habits and customs of our parents and grandparents.

The oils from this region of Baix Camp de Tarragona are extraordinary, all of them, olive, almond and hazelnut. In l'Hort de Marga de Carcaixent, in the Ribera Alta region of the province of Valencia, we grow aromatic plants, citrus fruits and flowers that we dehydrate and macerate.

Our aim is not to make cosmetics, but to resume the use of natural products from our Mediterranean culture and folkore, which were used by our ancestors. A model of life known and not so distant, which is part of our identity, and which makes a world much more sustainable, and infinitely less polluting.

We do not do tests or trials to determine its effectiveness, we simply collect the knowledge of our medicinal folklore by making history. All this in small quantities and in an artisanal way, without synthetic products, complying with the principles of good practices, and of labeling and knowledge with a university degree in chemical sciences.
